I started my research process by observing and illustrating the social interactions in the market. I continued by having direct conversations with current shops to discover stories and historical information. I also conducted archival research which allowed me to gain historical and contemporary insights from many perspectives.
By engaging with stories that I learnt from direct conversations and researching archival documents, I was able to discover hidden truths and history about the market.
